Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. What projects can be done on OnlineKaam?

Via OnlineKaam, everything you can do on a computer can be done.

There are professional agencies that can tackle a wide range of projects, from small to large, one-off or repeat, individual or team-based. You can find talent on OnlienKaam ready to help your company, whether you need a content writer for an SEO-friendly blog post, or your own 24/7 software development team to build a mobile app or create a web portal.

2. In what way is it different to find clients online versus locally?

Technology is making online work similar to local work, with added speed, cost, and quality advantages.

To begin with, online work can happen wherever there’s a reliable Internet connection — an office, home, café, or rooftop. This also means you can choose who you work with, among a larger pool of people from around the globe.

Payments are simplified when using OnlineKaam, as we have integrated various digital payments such as Esewa, Khalti and PhonePay. Funding projects is also streamlined as the OnlineKaam platform builds fixed-price payment options into the process.

There are some things that don't change when working on jobs online. Once the project begins, you'll want to communicate openly and clearly and work to create a successful project for all.

3. Are there any minimum criteria for signing up as a freelancer/talent on OnlineKaam?

Suppose you are signing as a Talent/Freelancer. In that case, you are required to mandatorily verify your KYC that includes ID verification (Any id issued by Nepal Government), Phone number verification, email verification, and employment/skill verification.

And for clients, they are required to verify their ID if registered and, if not, personal ids and phone number to access our platform.

4. How does OnlineKaam makes money?

OnlineKaam charges talents/freelancers a 20% service fee on the total amount they've billed with a client. Furthermore, it also charges 3% transaction and payment processing fees on the client's end.
